The Breif

In an education landscape rapidly shifting toward digital tools, Hypatia set out to solve a growing problem: how schools can manage student data safely, efficiently, and transparently across dozens of learning platforms. This project aimed to communicate Hypatia’s vision in a clear and accessible way – explaining complex ideas about data privacy, system integration, and educational outcomes to a broad audience of teachers, administrators, and policymakers.

Human-centered design

I led motion design and 3D visualization for this film, working closely with the Hypatia team to translate technical concepts into an intuitive narrative. The approach combined minimal, human-centered design with purposeful motion to guide attention and build understanding.

From early storyboards and metaphor explorations to final scene development, I focused on making abstract systems feel approachable while highlighting their societal impact on students and educators.

Building Trust

The final animation positioned Hypatia as a trusted, forward-thinking leader in educational data management. Used in national and international presentations, it helped build clarity around the platform’s value and established confidence in its ability to empower schools with ownership and control over student information in an increasingly complex digital learning environment.
