Process
I led motion design and visual concept development, working closely with Regnskogfondet’s team to translate abstract data into powerful visual metaphors. Our process focused on clarity and emotional weight, exploring ways to anchor deforestation statistics using familiar geographic references – such as the size of Norway, Australia, or the United States – to drive home the enormity of disappearing rainforest areas.
Each film was designed to be striking yet minimal, ensuring the message was immediate and unambiguous in fast-scrolling social feeds.
Impact
The final campaign delivered a series of impactful motion pieces that amplified Rainforest Foundation Norway’s voice online, building awareness and sparking conversations about deforestation’s global consequences. More than just data visualisation, these films embodied focused, purposeful storytelling – creating a call to action grounded in emotional truth and visual clarity.
