Breif
Bokhandlerprisen, Norway’s prestigious bookseller award, honours the most beloved and impactful books of the year. This project aimed to create a motion trailer that celebrated the nominated books with warmth and elegance – capturing the spirit of storytelling while building anticipation for the awards announcement.
Concept
I led motion design and concept development, crafting a visual style inspired by the tactile, layered feel of cutout paper to reflect the physical and intimate nature of reading. The approach centred on building a cohesive world where each nomination was represented through subtle, poetic visual cues, creating reflections of the books themselves within a unified motion system.
This design language evoked both craft and sophistication, honouring literature while feeling contemporary and cinematic.
Voice
The final trailer was used across cinema, television, and digital platforms to announce the nominations and celebrate Norway’s literary achievements. It elevated the Bokhandlerprisen brand, reinforcing its role as a curator of stories worth celebrating and positioning the awards as a moment of national cultural significance.
